1921 Paige Larchmont II Four Passenger Sport Touring. Older restoration. 6 cylinder 66 horse power. Continental 8A engine. It remains on a 131 inch wheelbase. Paige set the speed record for a stock vehicle at Daytona in 1921 @ 102 mph. This vehicles initial features include a cast aluminum windscreen with side windows, a locking transmission for anti-theft security, 33x4 1/2 tires and an air compressor constructed onto the transmission. It has a Biflex front bumper, The chromed radiator shell and all other chrome is is really excellent condition. There are very couple of 1921 Larchmont IIs remaining. A vehicle for a museum or your collection. Watch video on Youtube: Search 1921 Paige Larchmont. I have actually possessed the Paige for about 13 years. From exactly what I have been told, the Paige was found in upstate NY in the 1960s. The engine was revamped. Paint, chrome, top, and interior were redone. This was all done about 50 years back so the paint and top are showing their age. The furniture (leatherette?) has no tears or rips. Chrome is in excellent condition. The fenders may have been repainted around 1970, One little damage / fold in the guest rear fender. A few of the paint on the rear area has removed in the last few years (see photo). I put 2 brand-new front tires and tubes on in 2012 and set up an aluminum timing gear to change the fiber one which had actually shredded about 4 years ago. I purchased the Paige from a pal who purchased the car around 1970. This vehicle was used in a few scenes of HBOs Boardwalk Empire (see image) This is no concourse all set automobile but a good automobile to delight in or restore. No missing parts that I understand of with the exception of the side drapes. When initially introduced in 1921, the Larchmont II cost $2900.00. Its cast aluminum windscreen and plated radiator shell set it apart from Packard and Cadillac. The most lovely vehicle in America had won numerous hillside climbing up contests, as well as being the fastest stock vehicle in America. If you are needing a rare, quality constructed, attention getter, this is the vehicle for you.
